Hi lovelies! I’m Kirsten, the creator (and the unhinged mind behind) of Amplified Cosmetica.
AC began when I was living in Australia 9 years ago, as a page for freelance makeup artistry while working at Mecca. I had always hoped it would grow into something bigger!
I have been a qualified beauty therapist for 14 years, a makeup artist for 12 years and began specialising in skin health 8 years ago.
I am a self-confessed skin nerd, obsessed with timeless makeup looks and curating the best brows for you.
I have managed larger clinics, worked backstage on fashion shows, and have been very lucky to be a part of the award-winning hair and makeup team behind the best musicals to hit Dunedin.
I cannot wait for you to experience what we're all about and tuck you into our beauty bed!

Hi there!
I'm Amanda, here's a little about me.
I am an experienced Beauty Therapist and advanced Brow Specialist with over 10 years in the beauty industry. Specialising in cosmetic tattooing, brow correction, shaping, mapping, threading, and customised brow artistry.
I have also won an award for my brow work!
I am so excited to be part of the Amplified Cosmetica team and continue elevating my skin knowledge and treatment standards within a clinic that aligns strongly with my own values around high quality, results, and excellence in client support.

Hi!
I'm Jess and I joined the team at the start of February. I have been at stay-at-home mum for the last 8 years and have supported AC from the sidelines from the very beginning!
I previously spent many years working in Early Childhood, so you know I can run a tight ship, keeping things organised!
I am now so excited to be part of the team as Studio Manager. I am here to support you to make your appointments, topup your skincare besties and everything in between!

Hi beauties!
I'm Zoe & I've been with AC for all things makeup related for nearly 3 years.
I've been in the beauty industry for 12 years and have been apart of many makeup teams for Fashion Shows - including an award winning Makeup Team for Musicals!
I have returned to study last year, currently studying
Makeup Lessons and Event Makeup are my creative passions! 1:1 Lessons are such a fun way to learn new skills, refresh your look or to just get started (hint hint, there alot of fun!)

Hello, I'm Alyssa!
I have been apart of the AC team for nearly 3 years!
I have had a passion for makeup and beauty since high school, so much so that I started studying my makeup course whilst finishing NCEA level 3.
I am originally from Auckland, and for many years freelanced alongside my full-time job. I worked with many wonderful people and artists throughout the years, doing everything from fashion shows to formals, bridal, photoshoots and even special effects.
I am currently working full-time as a Midwife aswell (so if you need one, I'm here!)
I am very excited to meet you!
the ac fan club
Our loyalty system works a little differently! And for good reason.
As we are always working to decrease the impact our studio has on the environment, we have introduced ‘The AC Fan Club’.
So what does this mean?
Well! Any product purchased from our studio, you bring it back!
Once you’ve collected 10 empties, bring them in studio for 10% off a product.If you want to hold out, bring back 20 empties and snap up a Skin Club box filled with goodies to the value of $250!
What happens to the empties?
Thank you for asking! We are teamed with TerraCycleTM, so every empty container gets sent back to them to be recycled. Standard curbside recycling cannot process these containers, so this is our way to reduce our impact in a very wasteful environment.
